The Lord led me to an apartment complex where I saw Otilia carrying trash to a dumpster. I stopped and asked her if she needed prayer. She said , ” I had been asking God if He saw me or even cared about me” The doctor had diagnosed her with thyroid cancer several months earlier. Her throat had closed up and was swollen. She also could not breath or speak very well. She could not walk very well because her feet were in severe pain. She said it felt like needles were stabbing her when she walked. She had nerve damage in her left wrist which caused swelling and pain. The pain and lack of movement kept her from doing her job.
